Doctor XY - Introduction
I jog 5 miles every morning before work. I love the feeling of keeping myself in shape and being active. It gives me loads of energy for my work day. I need it because first I have my full time day job, which I hate! Then I teach some yoga classes afterward. I really love that. And I love being active so I'm hoping to eventually get more into teaching yoga full time and maybe some other fitness education.
So this morning I'm out for my regular run. I try to switch up my route every day to keep safe. I know some self defense but I'd try to avoid a dangerous situation at all costs. Today I'm planning to make a stop at the local food market since I'm out of bananas. I need them for breakfast when I get back. So I've already come a couple of miles toward the market. It's in a large parking lot with some other buildings in front of it. Chapter 3 - Planning a permanent change
Months pass with me spending more and more time bound, seeing less of our friends and family as we prefer to spend any spare moment with me abbreviated. This is an obsession we both share, to find a way to remove my limbs without it looking pre-planned in the absence of a sympathetic surgeon. I am becoming more withdrawn each day and Jace is wracking his brain to come up with a solution.
We looked at means of cutting off the circulation, the binding seems to be doing a good job of that on its own. We have read of people using dry ice, a shot gun or a chainsaw, but we can’t formulate a plausible explanation as to how my limbs could be in a situation to be harmed in any of these ways.
I start to wonder what it would be like to NOT be able to do anything. What if I couldn't ever walk again? Because there was nothing to strap artificial legs to. What if my limbs are removed completely, disarticulated at the sockets, leaving me truly and completely limbless? &
